One the 08-11 Tom offered to sell me his KDSH. Sent me the total and his PayPal address. I paid the requested amount and informed him money has been sent. That was the last I heard. I checked his for sale thread and he has sold it to someone else. No problem. I will just ask for my money back. Still waiting for a response. He has locked the for sale thread after I requested my money back.
Does anyone know this member and how I can contact him because I’m not getting responses from messages and emails (could be a problem with the forum)

Any help would be appreciated
 
Did you paypal as a gift?
If not then you can dispute the payment and get your money back.
You can email using the paypal payment email address.

Hope you can get your money back.
 
You should have started this in Tech Support. Maybe the MODS will move it there. How long has it been since you spoke to him?
 
I am the 2nd buyer of the KDSH, and there is another guy that bought the sheath. He has not replied to my emails, and was on bladefourms today. He does have positive feedback but I don't know about his one .. Kind of mysterious ..
 
Probably better posting this in the feedback - good, bad and ugly sub forum. Mods can move it if you ask.
 
Like bigboy I checked his feedback and it looked good so I paid "as gift" (I know it is my lookout). It has been three days and there could be a reasonable explanation. Thought I would ask if anyone has been able to contact him.
 
Yes feedback will be completed. I just don't want to jump the gun. I will give it a few more days.

I do hope this deal has just a small hiccup in comms and that it works out for you both.

I actually bought a cqc 7v from him a few days ago and have tried emailing him with the same email he sent me the paypal info through I used "gift" as well ... no response as of today ... I saw that UCPOPO said he received his ... hopefully I get mine also!
 
This is getting pretty ridiculous. OP paid as gift. Another commented and he paid with "gift". Hell, you gifted him. See, if someone gives you something then you don't owe them anything. That's a gift.

Why is this so hard to understand???????
 
Not when it was a payment type option offered and disscussed with the promise of an item in return ... so then it's not such a gift is it

No, it is a violation of PayPal's terms. If you're buying Goods, pay with the Goods option and then you have recourse in a situation like this. The Gift option is for just that. A Gift. Saving $3 for every $100 spent is not worth this kind of headache.

I agree, the point I was making is that it was an agreement made, one that I have done numerous times with many other members on this forum time and time again. This is a first that I have dealt with in this type of situation. It's definitely a lesson learned if this never gets resolved.
