Does this make any sense? I want something identical that I already have

The reality is that TWO should always be the minimum. Some of us don't stop there

That’s what I’m talking about !

It really is a perfect pocket knife, the pics didn't do justice to me until I got in hand and felt the fit, weight, proportions, just the total design. Once I had one I saw the light! 😁.
Beautiful knife!

When I first saw this design I started looking around for them online thinking that I’d buy one as a gift for my Dad, but they had already been scooped up…

So now my father just sits in his chair crying because I never found one, and nobody would part with their Mordax, even when they had TWO of them…

😜😜😜

I have purchased identical spares of things that I like, especially if they are hard to find and/or are likely to get worn out or lost.

I bought 2 identical phones for this reason and just recently had to switch to the spare because of problems w/the original. I've also purchased a spare pair of shoes that I really liked and wish I had purchased a spare of one that is now wearing out but is no longer made.

As for knives, I've purchased many variations of the same model knife but the only identical dup I ever purchased was a replacement for a Kershaw 1840CRT which the 1st "expensive" knife that I ever purchased (it cost me $80 in the early 80's) that I lost.

I initially bought an XXX (2nd) replacement from the Kershaw Guy but, after I got into "collecting" knives, I bought a NIB version and 8 other 1840 variations. Whenever I want to carry the 1840, I carry the 2nd.

I have that same Shallot, bought it right before they were discontinued. That’s one they should bring back
