Does your wife EDC ? Mine finally does, after 17 years of marriage - guess what she picked

My wife EDC’s a Benchmade Sequel, or a CRK Mnandi. Has a Bushcraft fixed (biggest blade in the house) for the bush and chores...and sports almost a full set of the newer Globals in the kitchen.
Im a lucky man...

GEC green abolone 38. Funny thing, she's always telling me about how people ask her about her knife. Nobody ever asks about mine. She stole my favorite slip from me too.

Nope. She never was interested in EDC. She is ok though with a fluorescent orange stainless Mora in the door panel pocket beside her. And I think that the cold steel shovel under the driver side rubber foot mat gives her comfort when driving alone.

An old sw model 36 and small sak. If she ever shoots at you, you will not be able to have kids.

I've been going with this lady for about ten years and two years ago I finally got her to see the light about having a knife of sorts at all times. She now has a SAK single blade folder in her purse and carries a Halloween or Christmas classic in a pocket. Also has some kind of sak tool on her keychain. No more asking to borrow a knife.

Benchmade Bugout has been a new favorite of mine and my wife’s too. Bought the exclusive from KnifeCenter and she loved it so much I had to buy her one too so she’d quit stealing mine. Lol

My wife has kept a Alox Vic Classic and a pink Leatherman Ps4 Squirt. The pink Squirt was on sale at Bass Pro. Don't know if she carries them in her handbag. I have never seen her use either of them.

Just a spyderco ladybug, she's been edc'ing for more than a dozen years. I tried to get her something larger but she says the ladybug is enough.
If we go on a picnic or something, she'll grab my opi #8 and throw it in her purse.

My wife doesn’t edc. However, she did help me Rit dye some scales today and suggested a different color for the back spacer, which turned out great. So, at least I got that going for me.

My ol lady has been on board for a long time. Her first EDC was a Kershaw Boa with the multicolored scales. She lost that one, tried to talk me out of my Sere 2K (fat chance), then I had her look for a few she would like. Now she rotates these:

Ontario Rat 2 (pinks scales and lanyard)

Boker Burnley tactical black Kwaiken (chose it herself from pics and loves it)

Some Ganzo auto she chose (it’s not a clone of anything, so don’t gimme no bullish!t)

Or a Byrd Crossbill (bottom knife in photo)

Yes, I know I’m lucky, in more ways than one. :D

My fiancee just sticks her hand out for whatever im carrying. She will ask for my Grip or my Waved Endura when she runs though.

Yep. She picked out a Case Cheetah in red Kirinite with a red leather slip from Collector Knives. She uses it almost daily and has grown to require it be keep nice and sharp. :)

That is a good deal for a wife knife.

Mine would have picked a collectible Bob Loveless fixed blade, except I would have had to sell her Forester SUV to pay for it, and the SUV is only a year old. In the meantime she is using a great set of Victorinox Fibrox kitchen knives the most, and has a smallish Leatherman for carry and a bigger Leatherman in the glove compartment of her car.

Thanks for posting the great pictures! The woman in the Loveless video is not my wife so don't pester me about her.

Mine doesn’t carry one everyday, but when she does it’s a purple Delica. She loves the color and every time she uses it, comments on how sharp it is! She definitely sees the usefulness in having a blade close by, but it’s just not something she makes a habit of grabbing when she leaves the house.

My wife carries a CRKT My Tighe. She's carried knives since before we met. (Military)

She takes my spyderco caly3 sometimes. And told me she likes my Hinderer the most of my knives, and grabs it for odds and ends around the house.

I should buy her (me) a 111 and see how she likes it.
