Does your wife EDC ? Mine finally does, after 17 years of marriage - guess what she picked

My wife really liked my red Gerber LST when we first met. I wasn't ready to give it up. So, I found a red Buck 425 for her. The little buck is still in her purse, 25 years later.

I remember the LST. I used to own an orange one.

That was when Gerber was still considered a decent product.

My wife doesn't really edc, but she loves the desert scales and blacked out blade Rat 2 I got her. It's always in her backpack that she mostly carries on the weekend or out on the trail.

Update: so now that I know what she likes, she got another one for Christmas. Russian, too, so similar and so different from her first. And she loves it :)

Her and my EDC this week:

She didn't before we divorced in 1987.
I haven't seen her since.

I've no clue if she ever started. I rather doubt she did/does.

She is/was ... "not fond" ... of firearms or knives, and did not like it at all, at all, that I had both.

Hi Roland - great story!

My wife enjoys knives and has recently started to collect (wonder why....) ZT Knives. For Christmas I gave her a ZT0900BLU and a beautiful Caribbean Blue Case Peanut. She has her own knife bag, which is now nearly full of ZT and Kershaw knives.

I find it amusing and enjoyable when, on a long trip in the car or just watching TV, that she starts flipping one of her knives.

She has had in her purse for many years a Victorinox that I gifted to her (the small one with scissors), so today she routinely has three knives on her person - her little Vic, a Peanut and one of her many flippers.

My ex carried a pink Kershaw shuffle. It was perfect for her as her family is a bunch of alcoholics.

When I kicked her out of the house and divorced her, she threw it at me, along with the wedding ring. I have it around here somewhere. It was an early model, 8cr instead of 3cr like the later models.
I hope the knife was closed when she threw it at you! :o
