Don’t cage it up, let it free! (The BF22 Bunny Knife picture thread!)

I feel like there have been so many 2022 Forum Knife threads that I am not too sure which one to post in. I guess the freshest one will do.

This was a project that I was surprised to see come to fruition, though I am certainly thankful that it did. My thanks to Charlie, Meako, Kevin, and others who persevered to make it happen, despite all the headaches that I am sure accompanied the endeavor.

I landed #160 and it is quite the finely crafted knife. I have my own critiques of it (namely the out-of-place and oversized etch and brushed finish) but objectively speaking, GEC did an excellent job on it. The pulls and action are spot-on perfect, the Ebony is a nice deep black, and the finishing it just overall superb - all the hallmarks of what we tend to expect on a GEC-made knife.

I love the "oil the joints" stamp and that our forum knife got to usher in yet another PPP. An excellently sized, very well made pocket knife that I hope to put to use at some point. Thank you again to all who made it happen.

Cool pics all thanks for sharing. Shame I didn’t have the money for one when they were live, I like the style. I like simple and old styles.

Been waiting for a chance to take this photo. F&F is excellent, love the satin finished ebony! Now mine is off to it's new owner :oops: I've traded it to Randy *edit* Bell, he was grumblecussing on one of the FB groups about not getting a prototype, and "who do they think they are?" 😂. I figure he helped build them, and we ought to try and keep him happy. Also, I usually only carry/use spears, so trading for a 39 Sheffield seemed appropriate.

He built them???

"Randy Sam" I have been close to buying a few of his trappers S/H a few times now,but couldnt find any info on him.

# 278 checking in and checking out. It's the last time you will see it original. Great knife and I have to say USPS is really on the ball. Tracking said "label created" at midnight and out for delivery at 0700 hrs. this morning. Made that long 75 mile trip in a flash ! Knife is sitting on a coffee mug that also came today as a gift from Rufus1949. Thank you my friend ! :thumbsup: 😍
