Always like seeing WIP threads! Looks like its going to be a nice one Elliott. Maybe Don can jump in, do you forge all your blades for folders? What thickness do you end up with after cleaning/surface grinding?

Hope to see more pictures and maybe in person someday;)

Ken, I forge the bar stock for my folders but don't forge to shape. This would not be practical or beneficial for a folder. After grinding, the thickenes is gereally around .100" for my traditional folders.

It's almost finished, will send Elliot a few pics in a bit. :D

I wonderful as the in progress pictures were, it's even more spectacular now!

As I've never had the pleasure of seeing one of Don's knives in person, perhaps someone can tell me what exactly his mark is, I just can't make it out from any of the pictures.

Real nice little knife. Great that your gonna use it. I've been carrying one of his more modern looking linerlock folders and I love it.
 
It is a beauty Blues, but ya know? I had know doubt that Don would pull it off........:D:thumbup:
