Don Hanson: "Blues' Pattern" Trapper

Joe, I wanted to hold onto it long enough for you to see in person, but Elliott was itchin :D

I'm still itchin' Don, but it's lookin' like Monday (unfortunately).

I appreciate all you did to try to get it into my hands quickly.:thumbup:

Joe, you'll just have to come on out for a visit. ;)

Monday Monday, so good to me,
Monday Monday, it was all I hoped it would be...

Let's hope that those first lines of an old classic are portentous. ;)

I've been up for hours and them lazy bums ain't got here with it yet!!! :p

OK,It's been a while now.I hope everything's sweet,GTG !
Maybe Elliott is in a CE/CF frenzy.
Or,perhaps, that knife in hand, prompted him to go afield,on the hunt.

Tell us Blues ,we're waiting....
-Vince :)

Well, Don's knife arrived a little while ago and it did not disappoint!

Just a wonderful piece of craftsmanship on a whole lot of levels from the grind, to the edge, to the stag to the fit and finish.

The knife is beautifully radiused, fits my hand to a "T" and is as sharp as any knife I own (and that's saying something).
At 3 ounces and 4 1/16" closed, it's easy to carry yet has a lot of blade. (The blade grind is truly beautiful. Oh, did I mention that? ;))

Here are a few quick images taken on the porch. If it looks this good in these quick shots, you can just imagine how nice it is in person.

A big thank you to Don for producing yet another fantastic knife, his time and generosity! This one will definitely see pocket time and use.:thumbup:

I'm sure it feels great and you will fill great when you use it. Nice job Don and congrats Elliott.

You sure lucked out on that one Blues. Love the flat grind of that blade, it looks like it would get scary sharp with no effort.

Elliott, very glad it arrived safe and you are happy with it!

I may have to make a few more of these folksy knives :D

Thanks for all the good words, folks!!!

That's a humdinger Blues! Congrats to you and Mr. Hanson for conspiring on that beauty!
