Don Parrish knife maker very honest dealer

What a heap of dung bein' slung!

The knives are nice enough, decent price point, and all, but this is a boatload of crap.

DECEPTION by another name is deceipt, and we as a group have slammed others HARD for same.

Knock it off, and let the knives sell themselves. Don and daughter, by default, have been warned numerous times about the lack of etiquette.

Stay off of the General areas until you get schooled. Stay in the Knifemakers Forums, those boys will get you tuned up in a flat minute. :mad:

yup I guess he did.Have sold to others in here.Ask them who and what we are about.I was told to fess up don't deceive? Don't lie.Well every since I have started on bf in 8-05 it has been up hill battle.I have been tring to get right with all,ie.(where to post,manors on computers,how to reply,how to work the d**** computer)It is a slow learning experiance.Never much patients in here.I should have (no doubt)learned how befor comming on here.Thought it would be nice for Dad to take it easy,not travel so much,to enjoy what he does,(makes knives).Still make a little money on the side.Well I should kick my self in the ass.Now dads name is soiled with names like liar and a deceiver.I will recearch,find out what is going on and get back with all of you who have ruffled feathers.I asure you that some where there is a reason all this is happing.Maybe this is not what I thought it would be.Maybe we can find other sources for input,help and comaradery.

well I checked out this point.If you look ANYONE can tell that is an error (typo) on setting up this web page.I have never done this(i know you can tell)making a web pg.When I was filling in the blanks on page builder on yahoo,I typed in dads name where there should have been the word "name".that is why the bottom two state Don.Untill I realized,then I changed.Now it is correct.Does that explain it good enough so to understand?So what should I explain to all yall now so to clear our name just let me know.

If you were a super moderator you could use the links to get additional information, but that isn't necessary. The important information is right there: "knivesismilivesbydon" and "lovemykallday" both have the same Internet Protocol Address, which is not used by anyone else.
 
My name is Dana, friend of Parrish's for 20 yrs - came over to try to help Kristy figure out what has gone wrong. If I understand correctly, you are saying both the usernames originate from the same computer? Kristy has a husband, 2 kids, as do I, she also allows a family friend access to the computer. If they were using the computer under another log in, could that cause this situation (ie 2 addresses from the same place)? Please believe there is nothing intentionally dishonest or deceitful going on, we are just simply trying to find a way for Don to make knives and sell them without having to travel so much. In the meantime we will try some other method of selling until this forum is cleaned up. Sorry for confusion, please do not judge the quality of Don Parrish or his work based on the total lack of experience we have in trying to set this up. Thanks, Dana Clenney

Your job should be pretty easy then - just ask the husband, kids and family friend which one logged on to Don's computer (the only one in the world using that IP address) with the user name "lovemykallday" and pretended to be somebody who bought a knife from Don and wrote "I recently bought a Knife from Don, very good service, Excellent communication, awsome products and outstanding leather sheaths." Easy as pie! :)
 
you are so right,so ass is going to fly tonight.I have tried to hard to let this ****.bring us down.So give me just hours when the whole famn damily lol is home and I start the interagtion.I can tell you no harm was intended,we dont need hype to sell.We have been doing that(selling knives) for over 10 years.Time will tell....Kristy
 
Nancy Drew has cracked this one wide open.I did some investigation.After cougar Allen and wolfmann601,I saw what they were talking about.For starters on home page,guest book was a typo on my behalf(ysforge).I do kinda see what you mean.Now my friends son and my sons friend(12),thought they would say good things about grandpa.There is the answer we were all waiting for.I did not close my desk top down,just switch users.Not ever agian.I close all windows,log off every thing,close my desk top.I will not try to convince yall that this is the truth.But it is and WILL never happen agian,I mean i was corresponding with him via email.How is that possible?Well it is.Now I am letting this go.In time all will be ok.Live and learn.WOW AND I HAVE!!!!!!!
 
You've got to be kidding. That's about all I have to say, and about all the time your explanations deserve, multiple people with the same login etc, give me a bag 'cause I'm gonna get sick.

It's clearly "the administrator" login who posted as Don, as the other posts show the format of guest / name. It was the administrator / a site builder with permission login. The story of "someone else in my house here must have done it then", well, I wonder what the shipping charges were on that knife order from "it was somebody", LOL.

This could go on and on. Coop said it best, "fess up and let's move on", you've chosen to dance and twist and come up with "dog ate my homework" stuff, and you're wasting a lot of people's time. And doing Don a disservice, Kristy/Dana/FamilyMemberWhoeverYouAre.

like I said not even going to try,Dad even stated,he's not worried,nor should I.People like to bring people down.What is there to lie about on the guest book I mean really,really.You can tell where all the ligit from error.duh! And yes my fried who is very good on computers came to help me understand the problem.I just did not understand ip adderss untill couger allen laid it out.And Dana explained it more in depth.That is when I asked questions.I wount leave here,I wont hate in here,and I damn sure wont lie in here.Will gain not one frinking thing,sell or advantage with these behaviors

ok,your right,ummmm,I went on his sight,and.......built it from bottom up had NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER done so ....and....thought I know lets LIE on the Guest book...and...no one will ever know......and......that will help everything..YUP that is what I did.U so smart and, well I name you Mr. Hardy boy.Will not justify anymore,the ones who have purchased from us know the truth,I know the truth,other customers know the truth.Can this just be done and leaves us alone.Dont like us dont look,buy,or communicate.I'm sorry it has come to this,but in another way it really doesn't matter.

Why would an account be shared among three people? It only leads to confusion. :confused:
 
simply answered,we all share,have 6 separate desk tops,hubby,me,son,daughter,friend,unclaimed(guest).If you dont log out,just switch users,ALL pgs,sites,everything is up for grabs.I thought you all would know this.So if I just switch and go make dinner,son,daughter,friend,guest,can click on my icon go to my desk top,click where they want to go with no passwords,nothing,Yall know this right?I have a dell deminsion,pent 4 pross.I could add 1 more to our start up if we needed.So no need there.I share my computer with others(friends not in home) so her kids can do homework,research,she can pay bills.Do yall get it.That is why we all are on the same computer.And CONFUSSION you aint kidding I did think,That after we had it all set up in 6-05,we worked out all the bugs.Well how far from worked out bugs could I be.Now next one??????
 
Honestly, Kristi, I want believe you. I think you and Don are trying hard to get a good name, but this whole internet presence is so new to you that you are coming off like the newbies that you are. I won't try to figure out the past. I look forward to your future here.

The internet and these forums are only conducted by written communication. We LOSE the personal one-to-one contact that is the truest test of honesty and rightousness. In here you can only be judged upon your written word, and if this is a medium you aren't familiar with, and one in which you abuse--whether intentionally or not--then you will have to bear with the mistakes and pointed remarks that you have somehow generated.

Stop trying to justify and just apologize and start anew. I think you have. Secondly, start up a forum name by yourself. We like one individual per personality. Don's is taken. I think... ;)

Sorry for all this negative energy. I think this place has a spot for you (and Don) and I hope you will trust in the forums and web to learn more and make it profitable. I base ALL of my success on this place and others like it. Don won't sell a knife with a lousy grind, nor can you sell yourself with a lousy presence. Take time to post and make sure you are honest. That's good enough for me.

Don, I think Kristi is trying hard to make good. You would go a long way in acknowledging some mistakes and not coming back and slamming us for what we have seen. That would be the honorable thing to do.

You got it coop,you are so right.I do understand,am new and apologize for errors but not for lying.Well I will apologize for not paying attention to what goes on in my own home at times.I know in time all will be ok.Thanks for your encouraging words coop.dad and I use the same name and that is all He lives 150 miles from me.We talk daily and I know he knows what is going on and all he said was"it will work out,leave them alone,if they are serious about a knife they will buy,no matter the gossip"So after the gun/knife show in Tulsa.We will do all business on line and want to be apart of this community.So in that I have all new passwords,(even put one on my login desk top)Never will this happen agian.So Sorry for the misunderstanding
 
Like Coop said, we want to believe you, and nobody is so bored here we just halt life to give someone a bad time. BUT, among all those people right under the roof there sharing logins and ID's and relatives and such, some of those exact identities were passed off here as having bought knives from Don, the "I'm so serious!" stuff etc. that started this mess.

I hope you understand that that is the core of it, the mis-representation of "wow I bought this knive and I'm so happy", coming from literally you or one of your "sharing the login" under your own physical address rooftop, same IP address etc.

Anyone else notice that there was supposed to be a transaction here? where did the 12 year old come up with the cash, or more importantly, how did he get it to Don?

To all the folks using this username, you have been caught in deception, deception seems easy with the relative annonymity of the interenet. And without forum moderators, who have the ability to check such private information as IP addresses, it would be easy to pull the wool over the eyes of the unsuspecting, However, there is no explaination here except intentional deception.

The more you deny the details of this, the less respect I have for you.

From one knife maker to another; Please admit wrong, and let this pass, everytime you deny it, you insult the inteligence of everyone in this comunity.
