Honestly the only reason I have a Strider is because of the 'Holy Trinity' factor actually.

I wouldn't own one based on quality of build, more of a piece of controversial knife history / an era when I was in my early collecting days.

Amazingly this one has absolutely no flaws (apart from being a Strider). Cannot say the same for all the other SnGs I tried over the years!

It sucks that it took you two instances to come to the conclusion.

I have two, PT and an SMF both are decent. No issues. I like the oddball ergo’s myself.

As it comes to Mick himself, I can’t comment. He has done some deplorable things. I have zero sympathy towards him or what people think of him. But I still don’t mind the some of their knives.

Over the years, I thought some of their designs had a nice look. That said, I've never purchased and never will for the reasons which have been gone into multiple times over the years.

(That goes for Bark River as well.)

The not wearing well in the pocket is a big deal to me cause I really don’t keep anything that’s gonna just sit.

Gonna have to strongly reconsider, after all I already have the real third member of the trinity 😉

What is the trinity?
 
The only strider i ever had was an AR i bought from a friend about 15 years ago. I carried it for a week, had no issues then sold it,got bored with it quick. I hate those giant finger choils ,and the style of that sng was horrible to me. Their current secondary market prices are a joke .....

This is years and years old. I came along in 2015-2016 and it was well established by then if not already becoming “ that old thing”
