Okay, now I remember him! Underdogizhere wasn't banned -- if I recall correctly, after putting up a big fight over a transaction he finally made it good (said he'd got religion) and said he was going to quit Bladeforums for a while and get his life in order or something like that -- my memory isn't perfect, but I think I recall the gist of it. Underdogizhere's last post was August 2002 and Komputerkop joined April 2004.
 
I just emailed the text of K.K.'s original post to Code 3. I didn't think I should messy-up this thread more than it already is unless a Mod tells me to post it here. At this point, Code 3 can post it himself if he wants.
 
allow me to add my two cents..
1. Danbo had forgotten more about knives than I will ever know. I have bought and sold with him at least 20 times. He is also a established member of this board and the other place. He also protects the rights of Gay Manatees which in my eyes makes him a good guy all around.
2. Lets assume that the knife wasnt bent when you shipped it...But JFC man you shipped a custom knife in a fricken envelope..what the hell?? :confused: I have a priceless 12th century Ming Dynasty Vase in Jade..do you mind if I ship it to you in a shoe box?? Get a brain.
3. I dont care if If Pats Kff liners are Deeply recessed or if the blade wasnt bent, bottom line one half of the equation ( the buyer) is unhappy. You should have done the right thing and just refunded his money and Danbo would have shipped the blade back. But you probably already spent the money on your trailer rent and lottery tickets and malt liquour didnt you?? come on KomputerKunt..like we haven't seen this b.s. before..get a life
4. GeeGee sold me the Stars and Stripes....you want to talk about a perfect transaction that was it..he described the knife in detail and when I recieved it there were no surprises ..Yet he was still gracious enough to ollow me a inspection period and inform me if I was unhappy in anyway that i could tape it to a gerbil and stick it up his...well you get the idea..thats a honerable trade.
5. Going halfsies on something for repair costs is B.S. You were the moron who shipped it in a envelope for cripes sake..suck it up and take it like a man you big pussy. You could have shipped it in a box.
6. Also post morteum..your on the Pirates cove PT list pal...

It does not matter what the reason. If one side of a trade does not like the trade, there is no trade.

I have traded and untraded with several people here. I recently sold a knife to a fellow and it wasn't what he wanted so I bought it back. I have traded the same peice back and forth with others. If anyone trades anything with me and they want to untrade, all they have to do is say so.

I must also say that I bought a knife from komputerkop, it was a spyderco military with pimped scales and I like it a lot. It was a fair deal at $100. It did, however arrive in a freaking envelope which pee'd me off. The knife was fine though and its done. [everyone - wrap things safely and ship them in a florking box!!!]

Bottom line -

KK did have one "OK" deal with me.

If Danbo wants to untrade or unbuy, all he should have to do is say so.

I will not trade with someone like AF unless he changes his position. This is not ebay. This is a community where we all either get along or get gone.
 
If everyone would conduct themselves as jhillas suggests, there would not be any of these threads.

You can generally tell who the liar is in these threads because the honest guy tells his story, as Danbo did. The jacka$$es always waffle on their story, then end up imploding and self-eliminating from the forum, as did KK.

Let me know when the forum is going to go down, I can't stand to hold my breath that long.
 
Cougar is right, Jerry "Underdogizhere/KomputerKop" Roberts has been banned here on BF and on USN for the same 'bullsheeto' shown here. :rolleyes: He was also known here as The_Black_Hat when I had a problem with him a couple years ago.

Any ideas on how to keep multiple incarnations of the same person from re-entering this forum?
 
My memory was in error -- Jerry Roberts was not banned in his earlier incarnation as Underdogizhere. He was almost banned but at the last minute he said he had got religion, made good on the deal, and said he was leaving Bladeforums for a while to get his head together or something like that. Evidently it didn't take....

Your best protection is not to deal with Jerry Roberts from ... where is he from? I forget, but I believe it's been posted.

It's easy to change your forum name, not so easy to change the name on your checks, your mailbox, your phone, etc.
