Don't feed stray dogs...

Very cool thread Kyle. I'll be in Oregon this weekend, but won't be anywhere close to Tualtin (bummer). Keep dry and stay warm and good shopping tomorrow.

If I still lived in Salem, I would be there with you! I love the rain!...to a point. ;)

It rains on and off. I'm trying not to get excited when it stops because a few seconds later it starts up harder than before.

For fans dedicated enough to wait, I'm sick of the ranting about the color and ethnicity of the staff leaving. One guy even said "Are these even made in America?". This from people "here" before me. If they have a problem they should go somewhere else. If the workers speak English (or interpret big smiles!) just well enough that I can communicate to them how much I appreciate their work and love their product then that is good enough for me.

It is a full moon tonight. I'm not sure what to say about that, but it somehow seems worth mentioning.

Anyone want razors? :). I'm hoping they have some mens Universal Group razors. The KAI ones I can get are expensive and way over in Beaverton at the Japanese import shop for the refills. The Noxzema womens ones are easy to find but as much of a KAI nut as I am I draw the line at shaving my face with a ladies razor! I could be convinced but I suspect the blade angles are different when intended for legs. I'm plenty comfortable with my manliness. You all can't handle how manly I am.. Cuz I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay, I sleep all night and I whack all day... No Python fans in this crowd?

And now for something completely different...

Wish you all could be here! If you ever get the chance the sale is definitely fun! I don't know I can recommend camping out but if this weather keeps up getting in line may not be better. I think the crowds will be more spread out this year due to weather rather than an insane multihour 2 block line Friday and then a half hour line over the weekend.

0560 and a Breakout. I'm down to 2 knives these days but will probably carry a small fixed blade in the spring when I'm not running around so much and can carry more steel without my belt cutting off circulation.

I've carried the 560 since I received it last spring. The Junkyard Dog post just made has me reconsidering. I really love everything about the 0560 and its near perfect, but other knives like the Knockout and Echelon and others I really love in ways I dont love the 0560. I think my 0560 love has me missing out and I think after the factory sale I'm resolved to switch things up a bit more. The Knockout is probably my favorite new Kershaw and I think I'll carry that a bit. At least until I can get my hands on an 0560CBCF :)
