Hmmm, very tempting for that price...


So I checked out a few knife bags and rolls and whatnot. They run about $30-40 with shipping and I realized I just tore the pocket out of an old pair of jeans and haven't thrown them out yet. Think I'll whip up something from a pant leg or something for the time being (since most of my knives cost less than $40) and then I'll have more money for knives. I just ordered three kershaws. A desert tan blur blem, thermite, and Piston. I have a handful of knives I bought that I didn't want so I took them to work and I have a few guys interested, but nobody carries cash anymore. Plus with Christmas coming up nobody wan't to spend any extra money right now.
 
lol, Dukes of Hazzard....I thought it was dumb but I still watched it. They had like 4 General Lee's, and they were constantly being rebuilt.

That Piston is beefy. 4"-ish blade and thin in the pocket. You must've got it used, tho...they are a little more than $40....be careful! Next thing you know you'll be looking at ZT's and thinking "well, $80's not so bad for that knife....."

Hey man, I have an old roll up pouch, it is a cheapo and one of the clips broke on it, but you are welcome to it if you want it... shoot me a pm with your address if you are interested. I sold most of my knives earlier this year and just don't need it anymore..

I'm pretty sure it was more than that. Are you talking the show or one of the movies?

I did find a deal on a used one for $44 in near-new condition. I already have two ZT's and a knockout and looking at $100 spyderco's so I'm already a lost cause.

I think they are neat, i dont really hunt but id like to play with some just for fun.

Kind of the like the little black powder .30 cal cannon i have... No real point to it.. but its badass when it fires!

So that whole "I only have $40 knives" thing is not exactly true. As for the rest, join the crew of lost causes :rolleyes:

yeah, I finally decided I am a user, not a collector... I like to think that I refined my collection :)

i wonder if its really just lights??? or some special effects?
 
Picked up a new Helle. Been after one of these for a while. It comes scary sharp out of the box. Can't wait to dedicate more time to using it.

Just lights and controllers and whatnot synced to the music. You can spend all day watching that sort of thing on youtube if you've a mind to. Some people go absolutely batpoop crazy with it - lasers, strobes, the whole shebang. Up north there was a family who had their entire (very big) house and front yard decked out, and a small FM transmitter, so you could drive up to their house, tune your radio to their freq and watch/hear the show.
