Don't Regret the Snark

Sitting in a motel room in Dayton having a Sierra Nevada Torpedo. Battled some shitty driving conditions today. Saw plenty of abandoned cars in the ditch from yesterday's storm and there were a number of stretches of road closed due to accidents. Pushing through to Chattanooga tomorrow. Hoping for better weather.

Be careful driving bud!

Just listed my mostly "unloved" stamped BK-9 on the auction site for $40.

Needing money sucks..

40????? :eek::eek::confused::eek::eek:

Hey folks,

I found a place that sells new US made wool blankets for $40. 80% wool 20% nylon. 7 feet by 5.5 feet and about 4 pounds.

Is posting a link to the manufacturer/retailer inappropriate?

From the way I understand the rules Gus, yes it would be inappropriate.

That said, if you are posting a picture of your new wool blanket and who it's made by... I don't think THAT is inappropriate. Mods can probably come in and clarify, and probably tell me I'm wrong. But that was how I understood it.

Thanks C-Bear. I may order one or two while I'm down here. I'm psyched that they are US made. I stumbled on the site the day before we were to leave so I did not have time to order one.

If you do order one let me know how they are... While I'm not a HUGE fan of wool, I recognize there are some INSANE benefits to it. :D

Right now? Or what have I played?
Either, or, both, neither... Right now I'm playing some older games. I'm hooked on Civilization (it's just always fun!), Gran Turismo 5 (I realized I never played it even though I've had it since it released!!! ACK!) and Heavenly Sword. Just a fun RPG.

And if you post a picture, that you copy from the site that sells the blanket we can hit reply with quote and see the link to the picture and where you got the picture so we know where its at.....

I think the point is to NOT break or bend the rules...

I want a playstation type controller that fits USB... i use to have one, i want another now so i can play some computer games without using the keyboard.

I been getting bored lately and looking into some computer games but i HATE using the keyboard to play a game.

Hotlinking is evil, it's horrible, and it's immoral!

But good idea! I like it!

I don't think saying the brand name would break the rules. We can talk about Kershaw and they aren't a site sponsor.

What is hotlinking, copying image URL? thats how i get all my images.... If its evil horrible and all that please let me know because i have no idea the difference honestly. If it is, how are you suppose to post pictures?

I was just joking ya bud... Snark thread and all. Hotlinking is copying the image URL from the manufacturer or retailer whatever and posting just that URL as your own. I normally will copy the URL and upload it into Photobucket so it gets "claimed" as my own. Sometimes when that doesn't work I will screen shot the whole page, then open it in a photo editor and clip it down to just the image and upload THAT into photobucket.

For real though it doesn't make a difference for real. Just if you hotlink from TOPS they post up this image that says "HOTLINKING IS BAD!" or something like that.

Kinda proud. Finally turned my brother in law onto Beckers. I have been telling him for forever to get a becker but he has been hesitant cause he wanted a knife to fill a specific role and just never got around to getting one. SSSOO I told my sister to get him one for christmas and BANG She bought a BK7, he found out, and now I think I got him hooked. He is already talking about buying a 16/17 to EDC and potential mods to his new 7 lol. I told him its an addiction and well I am an enabler. :D
