I'll remove the icon...but c'mon...if this was lightfighter forum...and I'm an old mech infantry guy...or any number of forums where you can't get away with being a (feminine hygene product) ....this kind of crap wouldn't stand.

The dude deserves a royal tune up. how freakin hard is it to abide by the spirit of what RYP is trying to do??? whatever, I'm removin' it...

you know RYP's OWN QUOTE about some folks not liking the no-nonsese handles and wanting "cocobolo or whale penis bone inserts"....I thought that was AWESOME! totally funny and true to the spirit of the knife! - it was great! I added his quote to my sig line...

a few days later...I started to get the "that's not PC" PM's....I couldn't believe it!!! But hey, 99% of the ESEE folks use the crap out of their knives - like they should be used...and are decent folks...so I removed the quote from my sig line...but I do have it saved...AND printed out and taped to my desk. :)

at the end of the day this is a family friendly forum, im not condoning what he did but using that icon isnt the way to "royally tune him up"

after loosing my zt0350 i have been looking for a new carry seen this and really liked the limited edition one.. figures when i try and order it they are sold out

off to look for a new carry :( ...........

that's just the limited run of 250. they're on pre order in a few places. you could still find one.

yea i was going to order one from knifeworks when i thought it was the limited one. i liked the look of the limited one a lot more. no biggy maybe the izula folder will be more to my liking

guess since i didnt get pics sent to my email, i didnt get the one i preordered(#110)?
figured i got it since i was talking to the support guys with all the hotmail issues...

Ok, well I'm concerned. I thought I had successfully secured #113 but I never received any email with pictures...:confused:
 
Yes the left handed version will be the opposite of the right hand version. Just flip the pic or look at it in a mirror :))

Still sending pics out so like I said before hold yer horses. I will let you know when those pics have gone out. Couple of bouncebacks in there.

The 250 knives have a special treatment and a special configuration choice and some goodies that don't come with the regular version. We are sending pics out of the protos to folks that reserved the first 250 and then when we get it exactly the way we like everyone can see the proto. Its honestly not a big deal but I understand the anticipation.

As some folks want to see the "real deal" before ordering then naturally we will only show them the real deal. But the folks who took the risk and ordered from concept drawings are going to be rewarded with a custom knife and goodies.

Like ordering a Shelby or a Mustang. Its our way of thanking those folks who trusted us to deliver on our promise.

These photos are from Lionsteel and show the first hand assembled prototype. Keep in mind there will be changes (the jimping, choil and other areas) , there is no coating or finish and certain parts are rough finished for fit. The final product will be coated, finished and engraved. But because you have reserved a limited edition knife we wanted you to see this photos. We will not ask for payment until the the approved and finished prototype is shown to you. Please don't distribute or post these photos they are only for DPx members. Also please do not respond regarding numbers, reservations or model. We will go through all that when we send out the next email. No money or reconfirmation is required at this point. We have plenty of people on the waiting list for this knife.




Looking forward to December!
