DPx H-E-S-T the knife to save for?

Actually the HEST will come with the knife, handles and sheath. At this stage, nothing more. I'm *guessing* these will be in the stores for 79 bucks or so. JUST A GUESS since we do not have pricing yet.

Get an izula now and worry about the HEST later. The izula is a perfect little edc knife. The HEST will not fit that bill nearly as well because of it's size and non-no frills design.

BUY AN IZULA! ;)

is the notch on top of the blade a can opener ? what is the handle spike for ? I like to see a picture of the capsule that fits into the handle,will the capsule fit with scales on ?
 
Notch in the top part is one of the most important tools a man can have when traveling overseas: a beer bottle opener.

Hook on the handle is a mini pry bar...and it works really well

Handle scales will not fit with capsule snapped into place since the capsule will bulge out and form a natural rounded handle. Really comfortable when wrapped with cord.

Thanks for the pics! It looks great but I love my Izula so much...I don't see it ever coming off of my neck. It truly is one of my favorite knives, and at 50.00, that's a steal...


I could get this one and carry it in a leg harness, keep the Izula on my neck and slap my RC-5 on my belt while using a RC-3. Now THAT would be a picture right there

I know I will grab a HEST but the Izula is the best bang per buck knife out there,I just wrapped my Tan Izula last night. Saving some cash to pick up my favorite,Green Izula !:thumbup: The Izula is just so hard to put down & so easy to carry :D
