I don't know if he's taking preorders or not yet but I just shot Derrick at KSF an e-mail about preordering the HEST. I'll let ya know as soon as I get a reply as to whether or not he's taking preorders.

Dang! I really need to hang out here more (though I've admired Jeff and RAT for years!)

This is gonna be a really sweet "go-anywhere" emergency knife platform. I'm dying to see the entire add-ons of the capsule, sheath, etc.

New knife models are going to slow down a bit after we get these out. We have another project or three we're working with Pelton on which will be pretty cool, and we are also *thinking* about an RTAK style knife. PLEASE NOTE I SAID "THINKING"

Our next round of new projects will be geared towards mods on current designs - thus the reason for the sheath style on the Izula. Once all of this comes out then the RAT/ROWEN co-brand folder will be getting some serious attention. No timelines yet.

No time for thinking lol do it please please please please

Tom at CRKS e-mailed me and said he would take orders once pricing was released by RAT. This was yesterday evening.
