DPx HEST/F Urban with 2.9" Stonewash blade of 154CM and Jade Green G-10 is on sale at BladeHQ.

Very nice EDC size with glass breaker and weighing 3.35 ounces. However, at $244.95 this seems way overpriced for 154CM and G-10!

I was extremely excited until I saw the price..... this will be a HARD pass for me.

I don't have understand they reach that price with such a basic steel

can get a zt0630 with s35vn steel framelock with insert for 200. the price of this at 240+ in 154cm is rediculous

This BladeHQ DPx HEST/F Urban with 154CM & G-10 should be priced no more than $150 not $245!

ZT 0450, which is made in the U.S., with all titanium and S35VN is $160.

But guys, it's got wire strippers!

I'm not disappointed in steel choice or features as they are all welcome.... especially if you ever owned the HEST folder. I'm disappointed in the price and I absolutely will NOT pay 100 more than this seems to be worth. I'll have to look more into their warranty.... admittedly, I'll pay extra for a solid warranty..... think Strider. So on the flip side if I find out they will replace the blade, fix the knife, etc then I may consider once prices go down

Really like that BHQ version, but $244??? I had HEAT briefly, and was impressed with the little knife, so I'd really like to give this a try but... I'd bite at say, $160. Makes an A100 or even the Gentleman Jim at $220 seem like a deal.

I have one of the Kickstarter Urbans, and originally had big expectations for this little folder.

But it arrived with a number of issues. When I posted about them, Robert Pelton was polite and concerned in his public response. In private, he was something else.

He finally fixed most of the issues after first threatening to keep the knife and not return it. He refused to fix the clip, which has such a wide space that I have no pants with material thick enough to use with it. He literally told me to fix it myself before finally returning the Urban, clip untouched.

I still like the Urban, although its usefullness without a usable clip is severely limited.

The experience left me wary about ever dealing again with Pelton or any of his products.

Happy to show you how to adjust the clip to your liking. They are all set wide and can be easily bent to the exact tension you want. We also have a Ti Grade 6 clip that is thinner and springier.

Thread necromancy. I'm guessing that he's sorted his clip within the past two years.

Maybe he necroed the thread to show off the customer support skills that led to yet another happy customer:
