Dr T. Knives?

I was unaware of this thread until fairly recently. I have been busy making many of the knives that appeared in the March issue of Knife World. I am very flattered by all of this. Thank you to all for your interest in my knives; and for the complimentary remarks about my knives. I absolutely love making them. David Taber

I was just looking at your website, you make some fantastic looking knives! And to think, you made your first slipjoint in 2011. Very impressive work!

You're doing a great job Mr.Taber! Keep it up so you
can slide me on the list...lol. ;) Congrats....

Hey all,

Just received this wonderful Lanny's Clip from David Taber at DrT knives yesterday. My very first custom. Blade and spring are ATS-34 and the liners and bolsters are 410 stainless. Scales are DRT jigged bone which David came up with after we had several conversations in which I tried to describe what I wanted. I think the entire knife came out great. David was terrific to work with and his work is beautiful. Highly recommended.

Wow, that is one sexy folder!
Great depth on that jigging and color. I want one now.
Please use that every day for the next few months and give us a review!
I want to see this thing with a nice, aged pocket worn look.

Looks great!

I got my first Dr. T knife two weeks ago and just now posted some pictures.

Seth,

Love this pair, the ivory is fantastic! I took delivery of my ivory BackPocket @ the Blade in June, fabulous.
My next piece will use some of this "Old Bark Ivory", if David has any left. Again beautiful knives, enjoy...
