Dr T. Knives?

Here is a Backpocket knife with mamouth ivory just completed. It is 6 ¾” overall and 4 3/8” closed. Blade and spring are ATS 34. Liners and soldered bolsters are 416 stainless.

This knife is now in my collection. 4 3/8" closed, 7 1/4" open. It's an excellent piece. The only flaw is a slight separation between the backspring and one of the liners. That being said, with the short time this guy has been making knives, this thing is fantastic. It's pretty clear that, if he stays with it, the sky's the limit for him! Can't wait to see what the future holds in store.

Here are two Lanny's Clips recently completed with crosscut mamouth ivory. One with a match striker pull.

David,

When I first saw this cover treatment, I thought that it was petrified wood. Mammoth Ivory, special look I really like the appearance!
You are the first I've seen try this, it's bring a new cover alternative...

Jeff

Thank you for the compliments. Yes Jeff, I found these at the last Blade Show and thought they provided a different look in mamouth ivory. This is a swayback with a simialr look.

Very cool website, and beautiful knives! Interesting back-story on the "About," page as well, definitely one to watch.

Gorgeous knife! That crosscut mammoth ivory is incredible.

David made this for me. It's on it's way, can't wait to get it in hand. David was more then patient with me and was great to work with.
