Dress pants pocket knife

I can't remember the last time I wore "dress" pants. My Kershaw Leek is not as nice as some the knives pictured here, but it is thin and sharp and I like it.

From 1998-2003 I worked in an office where we had to wear dress pants and a tie every day. I call these The Dark Years. During this time, I regularly carried a Buck 526 Executive or a Buck 709 pen knife. These days, I'd opt for my Case peanut, Buck 55 or Vic Rambler.

I never wear slacks. A new pair of jeans to church or funeral. I do have a pair tho and I just carry my normal edc. A trapper or stockman.

I'm taking my grandaughter out for her birthday dinner tomorrow. Since she's only one, it could get messy, but I'll probably dress up a bit anyway :D

I'll be carrying this 1920's Wostenholm, which I bought the day she was born.

It's also the knife I'm tempted to post whenever the validity of stainless traditionals is mentioned ;)

Rarely am I seen in dress slacks, but of course to me SLIM is the ticket here. So for me it would be one of my single blade folders like the #55 or my single spear #85 EO. Not small knives but they're very slim. In fact my #79 even though 2-blade is actually very slim as it's blades are one at each end in configuration. Or this half-Congress is slim and elegant in elephant ivory...

Please post a couple more pictures of this elephant ivory half-congress. I'd love to see more.

Most often it has been a GEC #33, pretty much since they were released in early 2011. Before that and still occasionally it'll be a Case Stag/Damascus Peanut or the AG Russell Pinched Peanut, or a MOP Queen #21 Senator, or an alox Vic Secretary. I'll also carry my Alsdorf shadow slimline trapper.

Most of my knives are dress pants friendly, that's how I pick them, as I wear dress pants for my job.
Today it is single blade old Case tested

I like those dark rich covers. Any chance of seeing a pic with it open? That patina looks nice

I usually pick from among these single spring knives.

But lately it has been almost exclusively the double spring peanut.

Good selection there and very nice to see you around again Doug:thumbup:

Thanks, Will

I grab the one I feel like carrying for the day. Only difference is that if it's a modern folder it goes inside the pocket not clipped to the inside so it's fully concealed. Though if I felt the need to go fancy it be my Rough Rider Canoe with the armor hide scales.
