e- cigarettes?

This is a great thread, I've been wanting to stop smoking (a pack a day) and this looks like it'll have potential to help
 
Picked up a Bull Smoke Electronic Cigarette Kit got it today works great this one might work for me cost a lot less than some of the ones I have checked out.
 
It looks like that bull smoke is an 808 threading so I suggest you pick up a cheap ego battery and a 510 to 808, since it will let you use the same cartridges (probably) and give you a lot better battery life. You can pick them up on the bay for under $10 and even a 650mah will last a lot longer. The "cig-a-likes" are still nice for when you're out an about since they're smaller and you're less likely to get weird looks like you might with some crazy mod but it might die on you quickly if you use it a lot.

Thanks for the info I haven't switched the battery or the cartridge for 2 days now still going strong didn't charge it either. But I haven't been hitting it like a real Cig just a couple puffs then I put it away seems to be working. Will admit I have snuck a real one a couple of times but haven't bought a pack in 2 days. So this has paid for itself already Cigs cost $10.00 Ish a pack here !

I've found out a few things experimenting with different setups and juice.
First , regardless of what type of tobacco cig you smoke , menthol juice seems to give a stronger hit and tastes the most natural ( for me anyway and I hated menthol cigs when I smoked).

I also found out pretty quickly that any cartomizer tank that uses a coil with a fabric wick will gum up pretty quickly. So now I use a Kanger T3 cartomizer with the bottom feed wick. They can be washed between fillups and easily changed after 2 weeks. The replacements coils cost about $1.00 each and can be swapped out in seconds.
Also sugary flavored juices gum up the coil / wick even faster than plain flavored juice.

But I will tell you that I'm a recreational smoker and haven't smoked a regular cig in over 10 years. So I'm not trying to quit... and the smell from regular cigs on a persons clothing or passing smokers is offensive to my senses. I have no desire to smoke any tobacco products. The point is IMO, ecigs are not a gateway to regular cigs or will make a quitter relapse.
 
I smoked for 15+ years. I first tried the disposable ecig about a year and a half ago. That was the last time I smoked a real cig. I didn't like the disposables as much and quickly moved to the liquid "tank" option. Had many problems out of the chargers, batteries and atomizers, but stuck it out. Now, the newer ones are really nice! The batteries last forever, the atomizers work well and, with the replaceable wicks, its pretty cheap. I KNOW i'm more healthy since switching to ecigs! I don't suffer from shortness of breath anymore, don't have coughing attacks, and, when I do get sick (very rarely), the sickness ends a lot faster, with no hacking cough to deal with for 3 weeks after the sickness ends. Yeah, they may not be as healthy as we think, but my results say they are a million times safer than standard cigarettes.

Oh, and btw, my father in law suffers from copd from smoking all his life. He was hospitalized not too long ago and the doctor gave him an ecig and said for him to start smoking these.......informing him that he could use it in his room at the hospital! That's gotta count for something......i'm just sayin'

Started with a revolver talon, worked well but had some problems with it so......

Ended up getting a zmax v3 with an evod and aeromizer adjustable flow base. This thing is AWESOME!

That thing is badass!! .....as is the knife laying beside it :)
