Earl Sees the World!

I spy a top mount intercooler and Cobb turbo along with that Brembo box. Is that a boxer four underneath Earl? Looks like he's up to the task at hand.

You know, if it's a good tool, one that does a lot for you, like say, my truck; the scythe; also the dog, or the cat.... (The cat doesn't do anything. He just pretends he does.) Then, I don't worry. Now if some strange tool I didn't know well started talking to me, I might worry. :D

Once they've got names they tend to talk a lot. That's what I've noticed, anyway.:p

LOL! OK, thanks, blackbrit, as long as it's nothing to worry about. :o:confused::o

Show 'im how it's done, Earl!

I'm looking forward to seeing where you guys go tomorrow! Thanks for takin' care of him, Mark!

Nice seeing Earl take an interest in your workplace, Clutch!

So what is that hot-looking engine??

Nice work on the map, mqqn!!;)
I am looking forward to a whole gaggle of red balloons!!

That hot little engine is a 2.0 ltr. turbocharged Suburu in a WRX.

Sorry about the poor quality photos, Earl and I had a long work day and it's real dark out.

Earl was happy to hang out with his sibling, an ESNYX modified bull nose.

Here he is with his barlow bros!

And here's Earl with a few of my favorites.

Earl is excited to get out on the town tomorrow!

I hope Earl is able to get out tomorrow; looks like he's having quite the party tonight!! :D
Nice photos!

Welcome to Looavul Earl!:D

Louisville is a river city that was born due to the necessity to circumnavigate the "falls of the Ohio" before a set of locks were built.

Our old buddy Daniel Boone spent a lot of time here in Kentucky.

Here's Earl lamenting the demise of Belknap Hardware, sellers of tons of his barlow brothers. This about all that is left of their building.:(

His spirits were lifter when he got to meet the worlds largest baseball bat at the Louisville Slugger factory!

A replica of Babe Ruth's favorite bat.

Look at those patterns in the background!

We visited the historic Seelbach hotel. Al Capone loved to gamble here. There were secret tunnels he and other gangsters used to come and go unnoticed. This doorman got a big kick out of Earl's story.:)

Churchill Downs race track was one of the places Earl couldn't wait to see. He thinks he might have been here a long time ago, but he couldn't see anything (he was in a pocket), but he said it smelled familiar.:o

Earl was surprised to see this much snow this morning!

CANNON!

It may seem odd but at time I think I can see Earl smile :D

He certainly is loving his travels. Awesome pics:thumbup:

I can't wait to see where he ends up next.

Wow, clutchcarter, you (and some other Louisville residents) sure showed Earl a great time!:thumbup:

Atta boy, clutch! Couldn't have asked for a better representation of the city of Looavil!
Perry:cool:

dook ,dook, dook, dook of oil oil oil-sorry that just came into my head.
Earl is certainly getting around. I'd love to see him in this wide brown land.
No doubt he will get here via that bit next to Australia -if you look on the map it looks as though the cartographer blobbed some ink on there by mistake just off the east coast-I hope he got the sack for that.:p

Well, me being a life long resident of Kentucky, it is indeed Looavul for me!! :D

I lived in your city for a few years, when I was a child.

Mark - thank you for making Earl feel welcome and taking him to all of those GREAT places too!:eek::thumbup:

It appears that Earl is now after the purty and fashionable girls, the rich and famous at the Seelbach, including the BABE'S bat !!!:eek::eek::D

What more could he want - a trip to the river, ole Dan'l himself, the Seelbach, the Slugger factory, the old Belknap property, and the DOWNS !!! WOW! :D:D

You made me proud with your hospitality Mark. ;):thumbup:

When will Earl be departing? I wonder where he will end up next?:confused:

Great pics and knives too Clutch!

Thanks for the comments everyone. Earl had a real good time here in the Derby city. He'll be heading out to his next stop on Monday. I'm going to miss him, but I'm looking forward to seeing his future adventures!

Where is he going? You'll have to wait!:D

Earl could not have asked for a better host and what a tour!!! Way to knock it out of the park, Mark:D;)

It has always been "Looavul" for me too. I was born in Bowling Green and my family has been in north Logan County since about 1815 (North-central Tenn even before that). Louisville was just one of them big cities up north. If we really needed to go to somewhere bigger than Bowling Green, Nashville was closer.
I never made it to "Looavul".

Glad to see Earl enjoyed it, though!
