ECCK Show is approaching fast!

And while all eyes are focused on such a spectacle, you grab all the XMs. Hold them for ransom till Rick agrees to grind you a one-off custom grail. Ah, that would be cool. Well, the custom grind, not the thievery. :D

Man, you are like a Wizard or Ricky Bobbie or something, I like the way you think...

Note to self: Buy sunglasses for me and get Bubbles better looking underwear.

This is going to be great.

And of course the battery on my camera would die the moment all the fun starts and I'll have to spend the whole night saying, "No, really, I swear!"

This should be a Movie, you just wrote the ending.

ECCKS Show 2012 is getting more exciting by the day, can't wait to go!

I'll be heading over there in a few minutes and I hope to see you guys there. I'll be wearing 5.11's, an XM-18, a Glock 26 and an S eating grin. Oh yah, I'll be carrying a Hinderer t-shirt and a white box with a new XM inside ;)

Best of luck in snagging some desired items.
Photos please, bros. peeks at the offerings as well as your acquisitions will be most appreciated. And I promise to post comments, not just peep n run.

Now, bad weathers creeping in on me, so gotta hunker down. Anyone else in the storm belt please be safe.

Unfortunately no knives for me today but I had a great time. It's great going to an event like this where you can strike up a conversation with any stranger and be buds in a minute. Lot's of good people and of course, lot's of cool knives. Hinderer and Co did not disappoinent. They "raffled" off I think 15 knives with most being customs. A great crowd made winning a challenge but I met another one of our forum bretheren who took one home. I know, pics or it didn't happen. Not many taken but I'll post at first chance. Gotta get home first.

Btw - had some good talks with other knife makers and R.J. Martin is a real good guy. Just thought I'd throw that in.

Well, no lottery pick yesterday, but we will give it another try today! ;) The good news though was that I found an as new Flashpoint for a great price.

There are a lot of people at the lottery, if you think about it, the odds aren't good. But I guess it's definitively worth it if you can win it. If not for the lotteries I'm not even sure one is able to get a chance at them even on the secondary market. It's great to be given the chance. When you are standing in the group of people, you realize how many people travel all that way just for a chance at getting one of these knives. Great following!

I can't complain...I got called at the previous show :D

When there were only two knives left in the lottery things were looking pretty grim.:(

Then lady luck shined on me and now I'm the owner of a brand new shiny XM-24 with grey scales, Yeah baby!!!:D

Lots of fun meeting some cool folks from the forums and the Hinderer crew.

On the advice of the Hinderer crew I bought a loto ticket last night. I hope lady luck is still hanging around.

Pics to follow......

Thanks for the photos, strider214!!
Awesome stuff, looks like Knife Rights made an appearance too.:thumbup:

You're very welcome! I'm sure there will be much better pictures to follow from other members. Knife Rights did get some well deserved cash from my pocket.

First thing I spent money on yesterday.

Lightning has indeed struck twice, my much better half had her name called at the lottery today, so a new XM-24 spanto flipper with grey scale followed us home. Thanks to Rick, Rob, Pete, Mike and crew!!!!!!! :D
