Yea weight is a big factor when you are choosing gear.Good kit; alot of repeats but if it brings security to your mind more power to you. 22 pounds for all that gear is not a bad weight at all, was weight something you were keeping an eye on when choosing gear?

I mainly just try to find the most smallest most compact items. I did go with the trail light first aid kit because it is super light. I really like the squishy bowls they are super light. When the dog and I are out he has something to get a drink out of. If you have a pet that goes in the woods with you they are great. http://www.guyotdesigns.com/ .
