Iv spent the last few years aranging/rearanging bug out/survival kits.my conclutions were very large and comprehensive kits.although these kits fill alot of needs for alot of different situations,their heavy,bulky and diorganized.
im going modular for everything the base for my kit is a brand new eberlestock j107 dragonfly in multicam (best pack ive ever had)

I use they removable top cover (fannypack) as a possibles bag if i want to ditch the main pack and or armour i can grab the fanny pack and bug out

a maxpedition monkey admin pouch with a tear off panal,serves as a general porpose survival kit that can be ripped off my armour quickley.small bumps and bruises med kit,power bars,mini sas survival book,surefire backup,cheap folder (lost my good one)
