EDC II Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

There aren't a whole lot of fixed blade EDC's out there. Ever since I got my ESEE Izula-II I have EDC'd it. Even when I fly around for work it goes in my checked bag. I usually have a Victrinox Swiss Champ with me also (my multi-tool). You'd be amazed what my Swiss Champ has built, torn apart, and fixed.

Here's my Horton Archback - EDC when I'm not in LA county:

Haven't used any of my traditionals for food prep lately. I did use the newly acquired mini copperlock to open a few packages. This one is also a good slicer.

Delica 3rd generation. Still about as good as it gets.

I agree with you on that. I have one, and if I ask myself which knife will definitely get the job done, I take the Delica, just like yours, only a black blade. Also, It has double duty, as the wife likes to garden, she sometimes gets splinters and such. The older Delica has such a sharp point, it is THE surgical instrument of choice for serious surgeries that a needle a tweezers can't handle.

This just came in. Probably carry it tomorrow. Presidio Ultra. Never had a blade in 440C that was so sharp out of the box.

Seldom a day goes by that I don't use my favorite SAK. It is what's in my pocket most of the time. I even carry it in my jammi bottems. Today it was cutting open some packaging, cutting coke boxes down to fit trash can efficiently, cutting some old blooms off flowers, cutting some longish growths on shrubs around the house, and opening envelops. I would feel naked if I didn't have my knife with me.
