That endura is out of this world, is the dye permanent and do you have to take the knife apart or not?

Some people take them apart. I did not. I just dunked it in the dye. I waited for it to cool down because I was afraid the hot glue might melt in the hot dye. I’ve been rafting all summer with it in my pocket. I’d have to say it is permanent. ??
