^^^^^Not cheating at all. I accidentally advanced my patina too much on my main clip of my 53 today. Was cutting up an apple for lunch and got a phone call from my wife. I stuck the knife in the apple and answered the phone, one of my daughters got hurt and wanted to talk to me. Needless to say I have a funky dark line/spot on most of my blade now. Ah well, bound to get more wounds soon enough.

Just as an experiment I carried a SAK Pocket Pal (ultra thion two bladed knife) to work today. I was shocked that it handled every cutting chore I used it for I may have to start leaving the big guys at home...HERESY!
