that's a real nice looking slab of metal ya got there!!!

That's a heckuvah composition there! I do have a deep fondness for vintage kitchen cutlery. She's a beaut!

Received leather and compound from fellow forumite, I managed to test it out, using it to bring back the bite and having one of the best shaving experience I have:)
I tend to round the edges stropping, but this balance strop brings back the bite.

EDC is the top four:

The stout pen blade of my Case 6232 jack is a good scraper for getting rid of dried mud from carpet. Here it is compared to a more standard size/shape pen on my Schrade 2331.

This is my constant atm...the muskrat has been a great knife, use it a lot and sometimes feel my 2012 is getting neglected so need to keep their use equal lol

Well, I got a couple of new friends that helped me out today. I had the rear bearing go bad in my old GE dryer. It was squeaking and squealing like crazy. So I took the dryer apart to get to the bearing, but it had deformed. I couldn't get it out of the hole with just my fingers. I used the bottle opener/screw driver on my Vicky Cadet to pry out the bearing:

Then I had to open the package for the new bearing.

Then I discovered that the front bearing support was damaged and had to get a new one.

Of course, my other new friend wanted to get in on the action, so I let ole Opie open the box containing the new part.

Dryer is back together and almost all of the squeaking is gone. There is still a real faint squeak going on. I'm hoping that it's just the new parts wearing in and not the motor bearings. If it's the motor, I'll just buy a new dryer when it actually fails.
