picked up a new CRKT M1 lightfoot:D

No final product pictures, but I used the Camillus jack to open food packages as I prepped ingredients for an afternoon in the slow cooker. That clip blade sliced through plastic packaging like a hot knife through butter (the tomatoes, garlic, and kalamata olives were all sliced with my chef's knife). Once everything got in in the cooker, the Camillus sliced some mint leaves that will be used to season the yogurt topping.

Shocking! Jack, deduct 2 internets for lack of bacon and not frying the toms!!

I used my Roto-sphere food prepping and slicing all weekend, but as I had my hands full, there are no pics. I was impressed with how well the blade sectioned a cooked spatchcock, completely on scathed. Am really loving having that unique knife on hand again....

......however, now I'm back home I had to christen both my new medieval drinking vessel and my Wenger Standard Soldier with a SUPERB Samuel Smith's Organic Chocolate Stout!

A day in the life of a EMT...

Btw just got a wicked edge Friday... That opinel is the first knife I've ever sharpened on my own and not even joking it whittled a hair and has a small yet polished bevel, might bring it down from 36 inclusive to 24. Now to work my way up from there. Next is Kershaws, then benchmades, then spydercos until I feel safe with my $300+ knives.

Cool drinking vessel scruffuk! The stout looks mighty fine as well! Nice knife too, to keep on topic..

How long have you had the Bacon Jerky. That's the real question?

Well I bought it at 9:00 this morning and its now 2:00. First time having it and I must say that I'm impressed. It actually is real bacon!!!

Edit: I'm going to attach the bacon to my leather strops when I get home and see if my knife turns into a light saber.

I still carried my new Micarta Sebenza when I went out to lunch with my wife but when I got home I had some fun with my Cold Steel Spartan. I know there was probably a better tool for the job but being a knife nut I used just it to clear all this tangled brush from around the power poll in my yard. Here are some before and after pics.

I was really amazed with how well the Spartan performed.
