Carried my Benchmade Rift today. Not sure why because I did not need anything that big for our trip to look at deck boards. Guess I just like a bigger knife once in a while.

AG Russell framelock spear point and US made Uncle Henry small stockman.

The newly purchased blem ZT unfortunately can't be carried, unless taken upstate.
The other three items are always an EDC upon venturing out into the Big rotten Apple.

Who did the G10 scales for your Izula? I dig 'em.

David

Wish they were custom g10 scales lol. I bought the scales on amazon. They are the becker bk14 scales. You get an orange pair and a black pair. They aren't g10, but some type of plastic composite. I am thinking of stippling them with a soldering iron.

What was that you were cutting? Persian Ivy?:D

I still carried my new Micarta Sebenza when I went out to lunch with my wife but when I got home I had some fun with my Cold Steel Spartan. I know there was probably a better tool for the job but being a knife nut I used just it to clear all this tangled brush from around the power poll in my yard. Here are some before and after pics.

I was really amazed with how well the Spartan performed.

Enjoying this weekend with the following:

Benchmade 940
G-shock
Wallet
iPhone
iPad Mini

Even though the Benchmade 940 doesn't follow the trend of a titanium folder that I normally carry, it does have purple titanium lining in the back-spacer, and it is elegant with the blade shape and matte aluminum handle.

...and my 2011 forum knife (no pocket slip since I aint replaced the one the dogs ate), tomorrow I'm going to try and send my 2012 back to GEC for surgery.

.LuD once again a beautiful knife my friend.

Keyman I'm assuming the last two BM's scales were your own creation, VERY nice work.

Today's carry......

Alan Harvey Custom Ti Junior
Mini Leatherman
Les Voorhies Model 10 Custom

Been carrying the Spyderco Southard over the weekend. Today my pink mini-griptilian, though I've found that it kinda snags on the thumbstuds when pulling it out by its lanyard on these pants.

Nice to have a long blade when slicing from a large block of sharp cheddar. Also used the 6292 to slice some onion to saute, both of which will be toppings on my lunchtime hamburger (not the sharpest picture, sorry).

Now the task of the 6292 is to cut my hamburger as I eat.

Got a little barbecue sauce up in the pen blade well, but it cleaned out easily enough.

The big jack also sliced open a package of feta cheese for the fritata my son was cooking.

i had a similar issue... i grinded them down just a tiny bit and rounded the edges.. also the side with the belt clip i used high grit sandpaper and removed all the bumps on the plastic (down to smooth plastic)and its amazing how much more i love my mini grip :) and my pants thank me too
