The 6292 saw more food preparation action tonight, slicing bacon to be fried as a flavor enhancement to the baked beans my wife was making and the collared greens I was making. No pictures, sorry.

What is that stick made of?

It's a tightly rolled up magazine with clear Gorilla tape around it and a short section of black Camo Form for grip retention.
It's 10 and 3/4 long and 1 inch thick.
Amazingly strong and effective.
Easy carry.

Received all three this week.
I sent the one in the middle to have the orig. combo blade replaced with a new PE.
I now joyfully say to the world... the Axis lock rules.

I just got a new evening job, and part of it is breaking down a lot of boxes daily. The guy I work with struggles with a disposable razor knife, and meanwhile the sheepsfoot blade on my medium stockman goes through that cardboard like a zipper. Best part of my day is cutting down all those boxes and then giving the blade a quick strop on my belt.

I didn’t get home until late last night, but yesterday, my Boker Stockman helped me make a Moroccan-style hummus and vine tomato sandwich for lunch.







It also helped me scrape some stickers off an old cigar box and off a door, and open some mail. And then it got to do my favourite task, open a package containing more knives. I was joint winner of Vanguard’s giveaway a while back, he posted the prize promptly and by First Class International mail, but we were both getting a little concerned by the time the package was taking to reach me. It finally arrived yesterday afternoon, and no wonder it took so long, for some bizarre reason, despite being clearly addressed, it had gone VIA AUSTRALIA! When it arrived in Australia, rather than promptly forwarding the package to the correct country, Australian Customs had decided to open it for inspection! So no wonder it has taken a while. I’ll be posting pics of the package’s contents shortly Thanks Vanguard :thumbup:
