The Paramilitary 2 is one of those knives that is right-sized for both EDC usage and harder use / last option self-defense. Its light and nimble enough not to get in the way of itself when opening a package or peeling an apple, but large enough with good ergonomics for more trying tasks. With different blade steels and G10 color options, no wonder its so popular. And best yet, someday supply will catch up with demand and the street price will level off. Remember the days when you could find a camo/satin or black/black Para 2 just about anywhere? Me neither.

Thanks fellows. This is my first freehand pipe. I have usually stuck to more traditional shapes, but some of his stuff has appealed to me in the past. I had a little cushion in my paypal account from a recent knife sale, and saw this when I went to my tobacconist's website to reorder my favorite English tobacco, which I just finished the last of a couple nights ago. So, a boys knife becomes a man's pipe!
I've got a couple that you'd enjoy taking a look at... remind me to snap some photos this weekend, when time allows. Having a cookout on Sunday, so I suppose I'll have to stock up on some tobacco myself and break out a few bowls.
To stay on topic (sort-of), I'm sure at least one traditional pocket knife will get used a lot that evening! :D

My new Mcusta MC52 arrived today. She's pretty.

And with some other pretty Japanese friends I EDC - Nex 7 and Canon 35 1.8 LTM from 1958.

The jungle tamed once again, just in time for weekend storms to fill it with debris.

The only action the Victorinox Fieldmaster saw was popping open a little post-yardwork, cool down libation. It has seen many days of hard use, so it has earned an easy one now and then.
