Watermarkin my stuff this time.

Go ahead and try and lift my pictures without my consent this time. ;)

That cf case soddy looks good, how is the fit and finish compared to the standard versions?

Welcome to Bladeforums! Good choice, I am interested in what you think of the CF Sodbuster. They are very light compared to the more traditional sodbusters. I have been intrigued by them for a while now.

When I get the knife I will give a report on it. I've recently went back to more traditional type knives for a few reasons. One is I wanted simplicity. The lightness is one of the things that attracted me. Light slim and easy to carry. I have a grey handled trapper that I've been carrying but it's definitely too heavy for office work in khakis. I like a large handle though so hopefully this is it. I got this one on sale too so that helped since the CF in these make them pricey.

Welcome to blade forums, nice knife by the way, I've been getting back into more traditional folders lately

Thanks brother! What are your reasons?

I will report back when I get it in this week. I ordered it in an online sale. :)

I had a $25 Gander Mountain gift card so I picked this up.

I can say that I am truly surprised by this knife. The flipping action is great, the blade is perfectly centered, and it is without doubt the sharpest knife I've ever gotten from the factory. I tested it on flimsy receipt paper and it push cuts it easily. I would expect the Pro and even the Avid models but I didn't expect this level of quality from the bottom select model.

I dont really have a reason, just really been digging my antique friction folders and slip joints a lot lately

Love mine, I have an Avid regular Vantage and I think I like the Select Force better.

Too bad this knife has developed a bad reputation. I really love my Vantage select as well. It's a great performer, made in the USA.

Doing a little edge testing on the Fixedblade today before I do the final finish.

Looking good dude!

Starting to change gears to smaller fixed blades, carrying the only folder I have left.
