If my Quark ever sells I'm picking up one of them to replace it, which circuit version do you guys have, D25LC2 or the alternate D25C2?

I just ordered parts to put another super high drive current C8 together for another playing around light but the next turn-key light I buy will be one.

I've got the D25LC2, sweet light. I also have an Olight M18 in my jacket, another sweet light as well. I highly recommend both!

Thanks. I got it in a trade thinking I'd just check it out and probably sell it. But the thing is glued to my pocket/hand. It is a phenomenal knife. There is something about it that I just love. Probably because it reminds me very much of my Laconico Slim EDC that I used to have, but it is a tad smaller and MUCH sharper. Maybe the sharpest folder I've ever owned after I ran it over the ultrafine rods on the sharpmaker. Action and lockup are perfect just like the Laconico. Similar clean lines also. I really love it. BTW, if anyone is wondering it is a Seamus Author by knifemaker Jim Harrison.

I had an M18 for awhile and then an M21, they are both sweet lights (my wife EDC's an olight). David is in charge of all 3 companies (foursevens, eagletac and olight) so they all have some really similar, and really nice stuff.

Have you ever tied any DIY lights? I got into building C8 format lights last fall and have built several since Xmas. The new one I just order parts for should be the hottest yet. I'll be soldering these mcpcb directly to the brass pill on this one, should push around 1400Lm OTF, single mode with a 120second step-down timer that'll ramp down to 50% (I developed the driver programming myself). Again its not really an EDC, just a toy. For the $30 worth of parts its performance is unmatched in off the shelf lights.

I also have a securitying SRK in bound I'll be doing the resistance mods to bump it up to 10A on turbo, I have some samsung IMR 20R's I bought an interstate rebuilt tool battery pack just to harvest the 18650 cells from to supply enough current. It should be here in 10-14 days, the rest of the parts for this new C8 will take ~30 days.

Nope, I only started getting into (good) lights recently. The one you're building sounds cool, PM me when you build it, I want to know more! :)
