I'm not all that versed in Chinese or Korean, but I'm very familiar with Japanese. If anything it might be a personal kanji, similar to a family title, especially given it's slightly off calligraphy design, which looks like western style mixed with Japanese writing.

Not sure, just a guess honestly.

A company called Darkstar Gear custom made it for me. I sent him my light and he had it back to me within a week.

Yeah its his makers mark.

Gary Bradburn is the maker and the mark is a stylized "GB".
