Very cool! I've just started getting back into fountain pens too. I used to use them as a kid in school. I just picked up a Fine tip Lamy Safari but find it still a bit too thick so need to order an Extra Fine tip. I've also been picking up some of the cheap disposables to try out like the Zebra R-301, Berol Fountaine, Bic Disposables, and my brother just got me a Staedtler Calligraphy set with both a Fine and Broad/Large nibs.
What is that clear one on the left with the piston refiller, and the short black one between your two Lamys in the middle?

The clear one is a TWSBI (Taiwan, but very high quality, comes apart, numerous design awards). I like them, but they are on the scratchy side, so I'd recommend F or M (vs. EF). The small one is a Kaweco Sport (German); they are buttery smooth, pocket friendly, affordable, take cartridges (that I refill with a syringe), and come in a variety of materials and models. I'd recommend the Kaweco to anyone. The TWSBI is more finicky, but great if you're willing to maintain it. If you need any guidance, I can save you a lot of time and money. Feel free to PM at any time.

Guys please stop before I have a full cart at "$500 pens" r" us" please!!! My wallet can't take another another hobby!

Awesome! Thanks for the info, I'll look into the Kaweco. I've been compiling notes on pens, inks, small notebooks, etc and saving them to my Evernote account. I'll add your forum name as a point of reference should the need to PM you arise! Cheers, much appreciated!

I couldn't agree more. Here's a selection from my pen/ink drawer. I used to run the blog Economy Pens and was really into pens/paper/ink for years... And then I found this forum. It's a vicious roller coaster of hedonistic vice, and I like it.

If you need any fountain pen ink, let me know. I have plenty I can send to help thin the herd.

LOL! oh wow, you have a collection! I started getting obsessed with fountain pens about 6 months ago....Every pay check I'm buying something...hard to keep myself in check.
