Done. It's got an actual pointy tip on it again, and I went ahead and stripped the spine. I might strip the grinds too, but leave the flats coated. The thing is SHARP!

I'm just glad to be able to put this thing back into service. I missed it!

Damn, brother, that came out great! I'm really digging that scalpel

Love the 801 grownstar, I am close to getting another one in blackwash, to replace the antique job one I did that you liked. Thanks for the heads up about Forrest. I ask because, we might have something AWESOME to put show for in here in the upcoming weeks. I can say no more, in respect for privacy. I agree with you about the relationships we have here. I like to think I've made a few friends around these parts as well!

Cool story you guys might like. I was hanging out at the local cigar shop, and I met a fine gentleman named Roger. Roger is a knife guy who overhead the manager and I shooting the biz. As it so happens, Roger is a member here "Regor60". He informed me that he had the pleasure of meeting up with BF's very own "Bastid" who apparently is a local! Bastid sharpened some of his knives for him. Very very cool meeting Roger, I hope he finds his password here soon haha!

Good to hear! The blackwash looks awesome on the 0801, but not as awesome as that antique'd one you did. I think you made a fair trade, though, because that Auto 7 looks wicked!

Thanks for the Bastid/Roger story. I always love hearing stuff like this. And as for that "something awesome" you mentioned, well I'll just patiently wait for the big news haha.

Oh, and before I forget, I've got my Blur in my pocket once again. This thing is so smoooooth :D

Saw Mr. 'Israel' a.k.a. 'WeAllJuggleKnives' review one on YouTube, looked like fun and under nine bucks.
MTech MT-674 Neck Knife ("Budget") Keychain Security/Utility.
Kydex, simple black wash, G10, 440, made in China, nothing more, nothing less.
Paper cutting sharp.
Great for opening boxes and fun to use.
But in no way on par with my Emerson/Perrin 'La Griffe'.

Charlie, looks like we share more than a first name. Without discussing my personal demons, I became addicted to iron. I have found when I torture myself in the gym; my mind, body, and spirit are focused.
Thank you for the EDC video. I still carry a lighter (and flint & steel), just in case I need to make a fire. I love you knife choices.

On a folder, a high polish edge is called a high polished edge.

On a balisong it's called "incentive" :p
