Thanks for the kind words! Definitely a fair trade, the Protech CQC7 is awesome! Love the Blur btw. Used to be my favorite Kershaw offering until the Cryos came out and now the Skyline! I'm thinking to do the 801BW with purple to blue color shift on the flats and leave the recessions blackwashed, can't wait!

I reached out to Bastid and might get a chance to hang out with him this weekend, or next! Should be cool. This place continually reminds me how small the world really is. Just the other day,I found out a guy in the CRK sub lives where I spend my weekends while I'm working....in China! Loooong way from Georgia huh LOL??

Anyway, carrying my Large 21 with matching pals tonight, for an all nighter...

Thanky brother! I worked on it til it looked right to me. It's been working great! I think I will go ahead and strip the blade grinds and leave the flats black. Then watch it patinaaaaa..... Should look really cool! But, I'm gonna wait until it gets dull first - I'll probably have to resharpen it anyway after I strip it.

Man! Those Blurs look better and better every time I see em.... That is one knife that (believe it or not) I've never owned. I may have to try one out!

Make sure you don't pick it up by the "bite handle"! You might be missing a couple digits with an edge like that.

Looks like this knife takes influence from Bastinelli knives. :rolleyes:
 
My purdy new Kershaw Manifold in blackwash, beast of a knife for $25. Solid lockup, shaving sharp and the HT on the 3CR steel ain't bad. I don't know what it is, but I've kind of gotten away from my knives that are in super steels I just don't really like super steels anymore.

Got my new Camber in the mail yesterday, so, naturally, it's in my pocket today along with a Case 6292 and Peanut.

As promised to some other members, here are some comparison pics with the Kershaw Blur and ZT 0770:





Camber on the top; 0770 on the bottom. You can see that they used the same tapered grind on the spine as the ZT:


Since this is brand new, I haven't used it yet, but based on the construction and materials, I have no reason to believe that this won't do anything I ask of it. I'm very pleased and I got it at a really sweet price.

Oh its happened! Sometimes the blades coming down on you and if your not positioned just right, or too slow......... Chomp! It makes you think about all those extra passes on the stones.... :p...... Sure is pretty though. ....

Brought out the dcl sheepsfoot and prion combo today. I wish I had more dual sheaths like this. Just awesome to have them side by side.

Really been enjoying everyone's posts above. Awesome stuff gentlemen.

Carrying the 0770CF, but since I'm the only one at the office today I brought the sharpmaker in and cleaned and sharpened my two oldest Spydies.
