EDC Knife.... for August...

Ya I used to actively collect and do that, but never found many good ones at the bank, and that was over 25 yrs ago.

Hey Dave, I presume you know that if you find those dimes they will all be silver, not silver clad as they started doing in '65.
 
I carried my large Vantage Pro since it arrived. When I needed something smaller I carried one of my Spydies. I remedied that by ordering a small Vantage Pro which should arrive Thursday.

Two EDC users for August, and for the previous year and a half: Sambar Stag 110 with a clip S30V; alternating with a BCCI Paperstone DP S30V 110.
 
I just got a vantage pro force in OD green plain blade. It is a really nice knife . it is a carry knife for after work and while at work I carry a regular vantage pro
 
I've been carrying this 302 for the last month and a half now

After Armand started this thread, I thought I would give another pattern a tryout as an EDC for me. I picked the 501 because it's about as small as I care to carry and I rarely carry anything larger that my 301's.

Well, the 501 lasted about a day and a half. I received a package that I needed to carefully slit the sealing tape to get into, so off I went to get a 301 so I could use the sheepsfoot for the task. I feel that I have more control of that blade to make sure that I don't go too deep.

The 501 went back in it's box and the 301 took it's place in my pocket.

I could be wrong but I think that Case is a 32087. "3" for synthetic handle "2" for 2 blades "87" frame style and size.To the best of my knowledge there is no "09" but I have been wrong before.:D Same Buck as everyday for severl years now , 110.
 
109 is the SKU and 32087 is the patter number. Not sure what SKU stands for.

But we digress. It's the Buck forum here. I just wanted to say, on my birthday, the 309 got the nod.

Old Hunter, your never to late... But I'm going to do this again in September and October and so on... But I'll wait till about the 3rd week to post a new Thread...
That will give us time to try out a new Buck knife and see how we like it... And get some cool pics of them in use or just some pics... Like a show and tell...
I'm going to dig in my box of bucks and try a new or old Buck knife out for Sept... So tomorrow we can all try a new Buck out for a month or so...
It will be really interesting to see what everyone uses for September... ITE ... :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
