I rotate between 3 110’s and a 111 daily
The finger groove on my work pants, A standard 110 on my Jean shorts, a Stag 110 on my long jeans, the 111 on the rare occasions I wear dress pants

3 of the 4 have been back to Buck for new blades.

It's always a little different for me. Almost every day at work I have a multitool in the pocket a utility blade in the front right pocket. Then I swap out a fun blade in the back left with the folder of the day. I use a 1-40 random number generator to choose what blade from the pelican goes there. Keeps it fun and interesting. Sometimes I switch out the back pocket blade for a fixie.

I work at home (small homestead) and EDC a three-four inch fixed or folder until I notice it wont cut, then just grab something else. Depending on the steel (mostly super steels) and usage, a sharp edge will last one to four weeks. Very rarely a day or two.

My more permanent and much less used gear: when I leave home I will just have a Chaparral or an Alox Pioneer. I keep a 14C28N full tang and a Victorinox Spirit in my backpack, but I carry that only once or twice a month.

Never, unless I replace it with a new knife. But I carry several knives all the time. For me, "EDC", means for self defense, not opening boxes or cutting a sandwich in half. I carry pocket knives for the normal stuff.

Sweet. You definitely know how to entertain yourself! :)

It used to be that I rarely changed my EDC, collected many, but would carry the same one for long periods, last was a small Sebenza for a few years straight. Then just under two years ago I was staring at my accumulation and something changed. I switched to a Bugout that day, then to a few others the following week, next thing I knew I was switching to something different every day.
Now I almost always switch daily, sometimes even more than once. I still have favorites that get picked more often than others but I do get to mostly all of them at some point. I like it this way, let’s me enjoy all my knives in the way they were meant to be and gives me satisfaction and enjoyment to recall why I liked a particular knife enough to buy it.

These days I switch every 2-4 days. This is because I work from home so I'm home every day of the week and there isn't much distinction from one day to the other. At first when working from home I might carry the same one for a week or more then I realized that some weren't getting used much to I changed.
Pre-covid when I went to my office 5 days a week I would carry each of my knives for 5 days, then pick the next one the following Monday. Then I decided that I had too many knives in my rotation and it took too long to get through all of them so I switched to carrying each one 2-3 weekdays per week. This way I got through my rotation twice as fast.

Carry one or two, during the week, sometimes just the one and sometimes both for the week. Usually an Opinel #6 or an Alox SA Pioneer. Usually something simple, nothing fancy, but occasionally I will take the folder and a small fixed blade....just to have with me, even if the small fixed does not get used. I forget how lucky we are where we can carry a small folder everyday, within reason and location, I was doing some research to see what one could carry in other nations, such as a SA in Australia or NZ, very restrictive and they went overboard. There are some exceptions but why take the chance of causing delays, luggage searches, and confiscations. I may not agree with them but I have to respect their laws and just avoid the hassle.

Whenever I feel like it.
It might be daily or it might be a few weeks.
It’s completely sporadic.
Same for me
I have been rotating monthly but I hope to get to a point where it's one 1-3 knives total.

I have managed about 3 months max so far and it's actually pretty liberating just sticking with and using my favorite knife.
I admire that. I’m hoping to get to that point one day as well. At least under ten anyhow

For me, I’ve bought, sold and traded heavily throughout the last 5-6 years (probably had well over 200+ different knives and models) and kind of narrowed it down to 12-15 folders that really check the block for me. Just meet all the criteria I’m looking for & rotate through them almost daily at random. Just whatever I’m feeling that day.

I think the longest I’ve carried a single blade might be when I first started buying higher end knives. It was a Spyderco Wayne Goddard sprint run. Man I miss that knife but I probably carried it for a few months until I got my next that split carry time with.

The longest I’ve carried since then is probably 7-12 days in a row..

I have a rotation of 4 with others added occasionally. Currently, it's an all Spyderco show - Dragonfly, Chaparral, UKPK, Native5 - though a Doug Ritter RSK Mini MK1 in M390 and a Benchmade Valet are frequent additions.

It all depends on what I'm planning for the day. Around the office, the smaller Dragonfly and Chaparral are better. Evenings out it's usually the UKPK or Valet. Weekends it's the Native 5 the most with RSK showing up now-n-then.

that is my EDC (plus iPhone and wallet), and I am fine with it.

however as o am in the hobby of knife collecting I like to carry my knives.
So my rule is simple. I carry my small inkosi on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and I pick a different knife the other days as I wish and just for the fun of playing the knives I own :)

i limit the size of my collection under 40 knives so I have no problems putting all of them in my rotation
