I keep a few dozen knives of the moment in a desk drawer (one layer, with a tray on top holding another smaller layer) and grab something that catches my fancy every day.

Periodically I rotate some knives in and out of the desk drawer.

I have entirely too many knives that I like. Emerson Mini Commander today, Sebenza 21 Insingo (large, micarta inlays) yesterday, ZT 0454 the day before, for example.

My edc is a small fixed blade. It doesn't change and is carried every day. My pocket knife does vary from day to day depending on mood or destination. The fixed blade gets the hard use/abuse.
