How often do you have to post pictures? I am getting zt 0550 in very soon and would like to enter but the picture part is the thing, how often, and can you better explain the side competitions? Are they required? Thanks, should let you know soon if I will be able to enter, sounds like fun, looking forward to the response, thanks!

As often as you would like. The side competitions will be explained when the competition starts

Ok, I am just waiting for the 0550 and I should be able to enter but not 100% sure yet, I am used to carrying a BM 585 axis lock so the frame lock and s35vn and the weight is different to me so I am excited to try it out, I will be away from the computer for the first part of march the 2 to the 7 but will be carrying the 0550 and will be able to post pictures (if I enter) is that possible or do I need to be by the computer those days?

Nah, whenever you're able to post works

Ok so you won't be posting anything that is necessary to see on those days, as long as I am carrying the knife

Ok I will be on March first atlas I should be so when I receive the knife I will post on this thread, does that work or is the deadline coming up?

I'd love to carry a fixed blade for this, but i don't think it would go too well with my co-workers in and office environment.

Well, since I reneged on the Buck Quickfire in my op,
the Lux arrived with such poor blade centering it's being sent in for service, and due to a back ordered product included in my order containing the Zero, it still hasn't shipped yet, and without digging through the Christmas decorations to find the Vertice I mentioned, I actually found a perfect little fallback option that I had right here all along, buried in the bottom of my knife box, NIB, out of sight out of mind, and since I don't carry small knives, I completely forgot about it.

You can officially pencil me in for a Kershaw Emerson cqc-2k

2.75" blade, 3.6" handle, it's going to be interesting...

*(if the Zero ships and arrives before 3/1 it may still be in play, but 6 days to go, it' looking more and more like that won't be an option).

Any excuse to buy new knives... Lol

I am officially in this thing with a Hinderer xm 24 skinner, I am switching over from a small insingo sebenza. So it will be a big change for me, since the two knives are almost polar opposites.

I love that knife! (or at least, what I've seen of it on the internet... I don't have one)

Looking forward to seeing your posts.

I am in with the ZT0550BLK 2nd gen. Great knife, big change I am going from. Benchmade 585 sub 3 inch blade and fairly light to a large over 3 inch blade heavy weight folder and a new steel, s35vn! Can't wait!

I'm in, I have a Protech CQC-7A coming in on Saturday (27th)

I've never used a auto as a EDC knife before, I'm normally used to a Emerson of some type with the wave, so going to a button auto will be a change.

Plus it would be nice to see how the auto holds up compared to the usual frame/liner lock.

Sounds fun!

Just got here today.

Looking forward to the next month!

Man don't you know liner locks are weak!!!!

All joking aside, pretty envious of your choice, the 7 is my favorite blade and I dig autos.

HAHA,

I guess you can't mention Emerson's without saying weak liner locks, lol

I'm excited to use it, I've owned autos in the past but only messed around with them and sold them, never EDCed one yet.

Not to mention horrible fit and finish as well as fanboys!
