I agree!

But for some reason that Buffed Double Black feels like the least grippy of all my other Buffed EDC 1.2’s.

Does anyone else notice this difference? I hope it’s just my imagination, due to the brilliance of the grind I keep staring at 😎

Congrats on the blade! The EDC is what initially drove me to Carothers! Then there was the DEK1.......then the DEK2....don't forget about the UF1!!!! UF2 is sweet too! ........as is the BFK.......oh yeah, if you think that's cool, the FK3 is crazy! FK2 is still one of my favorites......... yeah, you're F'ed.........🤣


ETA: DEK3, HDFK, Po-Ta-To......etc, etc...........

I don’t Grouse hunt as much as I used to I was down to one bird dog she was 15 and had to put her down last fall I do miss chasing them.

Congrats on getting your first CPK! Ive shot a lot of grouse just going out and pounding the brush, works great with a few friends so the lack of a dog doesn’t slow me down! On the other hand I’ve NEVER shot close to a limit in a day so I would love a good bird dog! 😂🍻 It’s been pretty frozen here in Western NY and I had a grouse that would qualify for Boone and Crockett sunning himself today in the backyard for a few hours, acting like a small turkey strutting around letting the light get under it’s wings.

Good thing I was hanging drywall instead of hunting from the back window lol.

Growing up as a kid that’s how my dad and I grouse hunted busting brush. There’s just something about hunting behind a good bird dog.
 
The magical knife fairy dressed in brown showed up late last night and left me a prize. I’ve bought a few CPK’s on here from other members, but this is my first one straight from the source.
