EDC Pic thread. Post em up!

Small enough yet big enough for most any task. Ghetto grind is nice and thin behind the edge, going to be a slicing machine. Ulti-Clip is ulti hard to open, would rather have a kydex G-clip.

Great pics, Chief. If you don’t mind, how are you achieving that? Phone? Light box? Or real camera?

Thanks, happy to share. Photos taken with Canon 5D MK III DSLR mated to a Canon 100L IS macro lens handheld in the shade of my house on a sunny day. Old by today's standards but solid technology when purchased 12 years ago. Too lazy to use a tripod / lightbox although I own both. Image Stabilizing (IS) lens reduces the need for a tripod. RAW mode, F11, ISO 400, WhiBal to set white balance in Photoshop (Adobe Camera Raw), cropped, resized, marked copyright in unobtrusive corner (deters scammers from using my photos to sell knives they don't own), saved for the web in Photoshop. FTP'd to my website for control of the amount of jpg compression, linked directly. Traveled down the photography rabbit hole but made it out alive.

Nicely done. I feel better knowing I can never produce pictures like that with my iPhone. 😃

Thanks again for the kind words. You can get pretty close. Got a new iPhone just before Thanksgiving and am amazed at how good of photos / videos it produces. Those pics are the first time I have touched my DSLR since getting the new phone. My iPhone isn't the pro version, just the plus. DSLR is too heavy for the slight difference in quality in 99% of situations.

iPhone pic using same in the shade on a sunny day technique, color corrected using grey reference. You can use the blade as a grey reference, it's pretty close to neutral.

Mummert clip is the way to go. Super easy to don and doff the sheath into your pocket. And the sheath will not come out when drawing your knife. It just grips. My Ulti clips are all enjoying their retirement.
