Kinda like a satin finish but ground with a 120g belt.
Thanks. I think I like that finish better than the standard that was on the preorder EDC.

Just be careful, even the Kydex can scratch it, leather is the best.

How bout an EDC2 with sweet bright blue scales?? 
Also: D3V update. By my understanding, this knife is at least 7 years old, and carried what I believe to be the original scales. When I pulled them off, this is what I found:
Minimal, tiny rust spots (even call them that?) That were easily wiped away with a little polish! CPK D3V, amazing stuff! #1 knife steel!
