Cheap smith and Wesson "boot knife" dual edge fixed blade on my belt and a cheap Gerber in a side pocket on my right leg. The Gerber is actually a nice knife, not sure of its name. It locks up solid and opens so smooth, it's like effortless. You can flick the blade open from any position without the thumb stud. You still have to want to open it, it doesn't fall open or anything like that. And I don't typically wear a fixed blade but I dont have a firearm with me right now so I grabbed one I could clip to my belt. Can't wait to get an ESEE 3/4 to fill this role.

Eschwebach- I'm really digging that blue camel bone. The more I see it the more I NEED it.

Thank you!

Erik,it is funny how you can make me want a knife with just one picture.

Thanks Kevin, nicest thing anyone has ever said to me! :p (Well Grownstar calls me Super Cool White Dude S.C.W.D., I guess that's pretty awesome too!)

I am carrying the Forest Jack again today, recycled pic though.

Yep! Black cerakote on the blade and hardware, burnt bronze (it sparkles! :D) on the liners. Josh at Razor Edge Knives did the work for me. Top-notch workmanship, fast turnaround, and very reasonably priced. He also thinned out the grind, and man does this thing slice well.

I'm familiar with Josh, and he really does some amazing work!
Didn't know he had cerakote though, and honestly the only thing that has really ever held me back from the GB was my inherent dislike of steels that corrode or patina too quickly...hmmmmmmm...me thinks me might have to see about this some more...

Thanks for the information man!

For sure! It's made an already great knife even awesome-er. He can also grind out a relief to access the liner lock easier if that part of the GB isn't your style.

Come back from hiatus and the old EDC thread is closed and now the new one is 40 pages in! Oh well, here you go

^^^Never get tired of her...! She's a Beaut.

Even though there is a lot of complexity to the bolster. The folder still has a simplicity about it.

Moved about 15 yards of mulch today. I'd have finished the pile (20 yards), but I'm sore as crap from moving office furniture over the weekend. Ugh, I feel old as crap. Lol.

I also decided that this was the knife I was going to learn to sharpen on, ha.
