Got my Grimsmo Norseman on me today. Perfect work EDC for me!
My 95T and Hati still get a lot of the pocket time when I'm not in the office though

I'm not sure when your knife was produced... But mine, being a skinner, is obviously a newer knife. Rick listened to the complaints about knives that flipped poorly, and tightened up the detent on his newer knives. As a result, mine flips great. I mean it is a Hinderer - it's not lightning fast. But that super fast opening you get with some knives really doesn't make a difference in performance. Just makes them fun to flip when you're sitting watching TV. Mine opens with enough speed to lock up safely every time.

...the only downside of the new detent is that the knife is impossible to open with the thumbstud. The detent is that strong!



That said, here's my carry today:

I just traded mine for an Eklipse because the flipping action on the Skinner XM is better than the terrible action of the original XMs because of the stiffer detent but what that does is drive the sharp flipper tab into your flesh uncomfortably when trying to flip it. I'd take a ZT over any more XMs as far as flippability.

I was using the 943 to prune plants and pick strawberries. I have used my 810 as a trowel though

Just got the 0450 in the mail. I've never been someone who buys every knife I see, but I'm really impressed with these three knives. I'm currently debating whether I want to carry the teenie tiny 0450 tomorrow or sell it. If I keep it, it needs to be modded asap! It' borders on the size of a knife that I reserve for traditionals only. So it's tough to decide whether to keep it. So for tonight, I'm carrying these three....on my couch.
