Really love this pair free a day I carrying it. Perfect combo really.

Already thinking about getting a second Dunlap. Either that, or I will probably get a Northwoods 2-blade Madison Barlow...hmmmm. Love the Madison Barlow pattern, but I hate carbon blades honestly because I'm terrible at taking care of them.
Decisions, decisions....
Both are great knives but I like to see your waved Strider if it's possible... :D
Earlier this week I came across a picture with most of your knives and it was somewhere on the left side...

In on 100!

Love me some Stan

Okay, I'm pretty proud to say that there are not a ton of knives here that make me absolutely jealous. Sure ther, are some that are really cool and I would realy want one if given the chance, but most of the time that's bout it.
That knife has me absolutely and completely jealous right now. Totally and shamelessly coveting right now. Stan Wilson is one of if not my all-time favorite knife makers, and I never see much of his work on here...I think I might hate you, and it's totally not your fault ;)

Char, I have found that once it starts developing a patina carbon steel requires very little attention. I carry a traditional of some sorts in my back pocket while working outside, and even in the hottest and most humid of GA summer days all I have to do is wipe the blade off with my tshirt everyonce in a while. That will keep the rust at bay. Everyonce in a while some spots will show up, but it scrubs off fairly easily. I also store them in doores. I've left a few in the garage for a week or so on accident and found them quite rusted.
I will admit to once being very skeptical of carbon steels, but now I carry carbon just as much as I do stainless.
Okay, my lecture is over.
(Oh yeah that shiro is stunning!)

Thanks for the help man!
I just don't like to see the blades not entirely even in their finish honestly, which I know is a little stupid, but hey, it's my pet peace on blade finishes. Don't even mind acid stonewashing and obviously not stonewashed blades, but I don't like the way patina forms in such a varied pattern on blades and like to keep the, shiny ;)

But, I already have a Northwoods Madison Barlow on the way now, so I'll manage somehow or another I'm sure :D

I do t know if that was my picture, because although I DID have a waved Strider, I don't think I EVER took a picture of it, and I know I didn't post it on here.
It was one of the only 2 Striders I have had, and it was a gift to one of my very good friends a while ago. Didnt even have it that long.

If you found a picture of it, then you should show me if you can, because that would be news even to me!

I love these pics with a modern tactical and a traditional coexisting in harmony! ;)

Oh they all get along much better than I ever thought they would ;)
Such a good and classy combo :D

I just got this today. I've heard all the stuff about Boker's F&F being hit and miss, but this one has no issues. I got it on sale for a very good deal. It's a bit different than what I'm used to, but so far I like it, and I'm curious to see how this N690B0 steel performs.

If it doesn't work out, I'll take it off your hands. I've been looking for a good deal on a Minos.

Sweet, yeah the patinad look is definitely not for everyone.
Congrats on the 77! I keep fighting myself from preordering one of the new runs with the spear point and coping blades.
Which handle material did you go for?

Antdog, that fixed blade is sweet. Details?
