Protech BR-1. I was eyeing the Newport, but I don't know what it would offer that the "Magic" BR-1 doesn't offer already.

I've been meaning to ask you how do you like that Spyderco ? (Dog tag?) Just looks handy to me and I have a soft spot for the little knives.
It's a nifty little box cutter. I personally don't see real life implementation for one. I have it on toolchain and planning to get a chain for neck carry. In either case I find it easier to get one of my knives. Unless you carry it accessible it will be good for open a box or cut something on flat surface. Due to chisel grind it's not a great "in the air" cutterbif you know that I mean.

Thanks, cleared up some questions.

Taking the kid to the orthodontist, so the fixed blade goes into the bag, and the Skeletool gets clipped to the pocket. Because it's not a knife, it's a multitool.

I'm sure we have some dental technicians here, but if I needed an example of "non-knife people", they are one of the professions I might point to....

Something to draw.

And something to read.

that's suck a sweet knife!

who makes that little neck knife?

Made it myself. ;) old file, some 1/4" abs plastic a belt sander and a drill. Oh and a little piece of kydex for pocket sheath. It takes a great edge and it's super easy to sharpen. The "pins" are stainless finish nails. Don't know the exact dimensions.
